Mizensir

Mizensir is a Swiss house whose origins date to 1999, when the renowned perfumer Alberto Morillas was already crafting scented candles for fine perfumery. Wanting the freedom to realize his own creations, he founded Mizensir with his wife. The label began with scented candles and room sprays, then expanded into distinctive fragrances, all composed by Morillas himself. That detail defines the house: it is the personal studio of one of the most accomplished noses in the industry, where his ideas are pursued without compromise.

The signature is polished, warm, and beautifully balanced. Bergamot and Calabrian bergamot lift the openings, with Bulgarian rose and cardamom adding floral and spicy facets, all resting on woods, musk, aromatics, and amber that give the compositions a smooth, refined depth. Bois de Mysore is a fine introduction for its creamy woody warmth, while Celebes Wood explores the woody register further, and de Figuier and du Mate turn toward greener, more aromatic moods.
