Vetiver Imperiale is an absolute masterclass in crisp, aristocratic understatement. Stripping away the raw, earthy grit often found in the genre, it delivers a highly polished, "Old-World" execution. Personally, it reminds me of a margarita with a lively, fresh, natural green note and an uplifting quality.

Vetiver Imperiale opens with a bright, regal burst of bergamot, mandarin, and Tunisian neroli. Then it goes into a bracing, textured spice layer of black, white, and pink pepper intertwined with clean patchouli. Ultimately, the dry-down features a stunningly smooth, rounded vetiver anchored by Atlas cedarwood and a warm, smoky touch of amber.

This fragrance is absolutely amazing. I went to Saks Fifth Ave in New York to check out a few niche fragrances and I had no intentions of smelling anything but blonde amber. Long story short, this is the BEST clive christian fragrance. Absolute masterpiece! Blonde amber has nothing on this. Another really good fragrance from this house is cashmere musk but, this rock rose is a safe blind buy. Great price here too!
