Parfums de Marly
Parfums de Marly draws its inspiration from eighteenth-century France, an age when fragrance was woven into the fabric of court life and the finest perfumes were created for King Louis XV. The house, founded in 2008 by Julien Sprecher, set out to revive that sense of aristocratic refinement, naming its line in homage to the prestigious horse races of the era. Now part of Advent International, the brand pairs that historical romance with a thoroughly modern sensibility, giving each fragrance its own clear personality.
The signature is polished and versatile, balancing woods and bright citrus with powdery softness and a fruity glow. Bergamot and pink pepper sharpen the openings, heliotrope lends a tender powdery warmth, and green apple adds a crisp, contemporary edge. Pegasus is the house's most recognized creation, an almond-and-vanilla crowd-pleaser, with Pegasus Exclusif offering a deeper take. Greenley brings a fresh, fruity brightness, while Perseus leans cleaner and aromatic. Parfums de Marly dresses the past in distinctly modern clothes.
