Paco Rabanne

Paco Rabanne is a French fashion house founded in 1966 by Francisco Rabaneda Cuervo, the Spanish-born designer who fled the Spanish Civil War with his family and grew up in Paris. Trained as an architect, he started in fashion designing jewelry before turning to clothing, where he made his name with eclectic pieces built from unconventional materials like metal and paper. The house entered fragrance in 1969 with Calandre, a women's scent that became a landmark, and has since released a steady run of distinctive perfumes for men and women in partnership with Puig.
