Ojar

OJAR is an Omani house founded by entrepreneur Sheikha Hind Bahwan, conceived to bring the rituals of Middle Eastern perfumery into a modern, unisex idiom. The name traces back to Hojari, the prized green frankincense harvested from Oman's Dhofar mountains and widely regarded as the world's finest, and that resin sits at the heart of the line. Drawing on the founder's travels and the hospitality she encountered across the region, OJAR pairs Eastern heritage with Western polish. Its perfume oils are created with Givaudan, built around a small set of core materials including oud, rose, frankincense, honey, sandalwood and musk.

With perfumers such as Jordi Fernandez and Nanako Ogi contributing, the style runs woody and warmly spiced, with an amber depth and a clean aromatic lift. Pink pepper adds bite, heliotrope brings a soft almond powderiness, Indian saffron glows with leathery warmth, and lily of the valley keeps it luminous.
