Marc Jacobs
Marc Jacobs is an American designer who showed an early gift for fashion, winning student honors at Parsons and selling his first hand-knit sweaters while still in school. He launched his own label in the mid-1980s, earned the Perry Ellis Award for new talent, and went on to serve as creative director at Louis Vuitton before building out his namesake brand and secondary lines. His fragrances arrived in the early 2000s in partnership with Coty, and the house found lasting success with Daisy, a women's scent that has inspired a long line of flankers.
The Marc Jacobs signature is bright, sweet, and unmistakably feminine, fruit and florals wrapped in soft musk. Strawberry, pear, bergamot, and cloudberry give the openings their juicy, cheerful lift before the compositions settle into a clean, comforting base. Start with Daisy Love for its warm, modern character, Daisy Eau So Intense for a richer take, or Daisy Love Spring for a fresher, lighter mood. It is youthful charm done with real polish.
