liquides Imaginaires
Liquides Imaginaires is a French house founded by David Frossard and Philippe Di Meo, with Di Meo serving as its creative and artistic nose. The pair set out to revive the ceremony and ritual once attached to wearing perfume, treating each fragrance as an object and an experience rather than a simple product. The bottles are designed to feel mysterious and amphora-like, crafted by skilled artisans to hold the spirit of the scent within. The house releases its work in trilogies, sets of three fragrances bound by a shared theme, and also produces candles.
The fragrances themselves play like riddles, spiced and woody with floral touches and a thread of sweetness. Bergamot, grapefruit, and mandarin orange give a bright, almost effervescent opening, while black pepper adds a sharp, animated lift before the woods settle in. These are scents meant to mark passages and intentions, to carry the wearer somewhere more imaginative. Start with Blanche Bete or Bloody Wood, then explore Desert Suave and Dom Rosa. Each trilogy is its own small world to step into.
