Hermetica

Hermetica is a Paris-based French house founded in 2018 by Clara and John Molloy, who took inspiration from the old idea of alchemy, the search to transform base materials into something precious. Applied to perfume, that thinking led them to a fragrance that works closely with the skin. Rather than choosing between natural ingredients and synthetic molecules, Hermetica combines the two in a patented, alcohol-free base developed with Symrise. The formula is designed to both scent and care for the skin, with a velvety green molecule derived from sugar-cane byproduct, and every scent carries a shared accord called Source.

On skin, the line has a clean, intimate radiance. Expect powdery softness and warm spice woven around rose, with bergamot lifting the top and amber, black rose, and herbaceous davana adding depth and green shadow. Because there is no alcohol, the heart of each scent shows itself right away. Rosefire is a fine introduction for its warm, rosy glow, while Spiceair leans into spice and Sandalsun and Vaninight turn toward woody and vanillic warmth. Modern alchemy worn close to the body.
