Gritti is an Italian niche house founded in 2009, the life's work of Luca Gritti, whose family line reaches back to the sixteenth century and the Venetian merchant Andrea Gritti. The family motto, a refusal to bend in the face of hardship, still anchors the brand. Before launching his own label, Luca Gritti spent years composing fragrances for other houses, then set out to build a luxury name defined by bold, high-quality materials and serious olfactory research. Drawing on Venetian heritage, the brand treats perfume as a form of artistic expression.

With Gritti himself behind the compositions, the style is woody and fruited, with aromatic herbs and a powdery softness giving it polish.
