Electimuss
Electimuss is a British luxury house created in 2011 under the direction of Michael Boadi, a fragrance designer previously tied to projects including Valhalla, Illuminum, and Nosegasm. From the start the brand drew on the grandeur of ancient Rome, conceiving scents meant to feel as bold and lasting as the empire itself. Independent and deliberately decadent, it works with master perfumers and treats each bottle as something to be kept rather than used up.
The house signature is opulent and enveloping, anchored in woods and warm spice with amber depth and a soft powdery finish. Expect bergamot brightness up top giving way to pink pepper, saffron, and black cardamom, spices that read luxurious rather than fierce. Start with Vixere, Cupid's Kiss, or Vici Leather to take the measure of how richly the house builds a fragrance. Electimuss makes perfume with the swagger of Rome at its height.
