Alghabra Parfums is a tribute to Old Damascus, the historic city long known as the City of Jasmine. The brand honors the legacy of Mohammed Khair Alghabra, one of the first Attars in the Middle East, who began his work in the old quarter of Damascus in 1973. Now an independent niche house, Alghabra channels the warmth and authentic beauty of that ancient city, treating perfume as a form of reverence for art, history, and place.

The compositions are warm and inviting, built on woods and amber with fruit and a smooth sweetness. Bergamot brightens the top while tobacco and labdanum give the blends their rich, resinous character, and apple adds a soft, rounded touch. The house has a particular flair for tobacco, with Peruvian Tobacco and Jamaican Tobacco anchoring the line. Ancient Fortress leans deeper and more enveloping, while Gray Plumeria offers a softer, more floral counterpoint. Alghabra brings the warmth of Old Damascus into every bottle.
