Akro

Akro is a family project, founded in 2018 by master perfumer Olivier Cresp and his daughter Anais. The name comes from the French accro, meaning addicted or obsessed, and that idea runs straight through the work: fragrances built to capture human cravings in a way that lingers. The concept took shape in London, in the Ladbroke Grove district, a place loud with street food, old wood, and warm asphalt, then paired that raw energy with a Parisian sense of polish.

The debut collection took addictions as its theme, and the line still reads bold and a little provocative, balancing sweetness with green aromatics, woods, and citrus. The notes themselves can be unexpected, from rum and bergamot to lemon zest and even ink, a reminder that Akro is happy to chase the strange.
